Beth Green directs the music for the children of the church in conjunction with the church's director of music, Tim Reynolds.  She conducts the children's choir at St. Andrew for grades K -5.

Beth is best known on the island as The Music Lady, and serves schools on Hilton Head as well as being on-staff with the Youth Theatre..  In each setting, she provides age-appropriate stimuli. Sessions may include puppets, instruments, scarves, streamers, pom-poms, or other props. She also teaches private voice lessons for both children and adults.

Prior to moving to Hilton Head, Beth served as the children's choirs director at Second Congregational Church in Cohasset, MA, where she composed for and directed the Cherub, Junior and Youth Choirs encompassing ages 5-13 years. The music ministry included vocal performances, handbells, and hand chimes. While in Massachusetts, she also hosted programs at 36 schools or facilities including music therapy for mentally handicapped adults and nursing homes residents.

Beth, a member of a number of music educators associations, was a finalist for the Best Childrens CD, 2004 presented by the Children's Music Web Awards and her CDs are available at several island stores. Green produces learning CDs for her children's choirs as well.  For more information about the Children's Choirs, contact Green at 422-4271 or info@singhappy.com
